The "Off-Season"

November is often known as the "off-season" in the Northeast.  It is part autumn, part winter...but neither really.  Endless days of clouds followed by a couple of sunny 60 degree days leave one to wonder if they should wear a t shirt or heavy coat as they venture out.  Odds are, you're best bet is to pack both.  Sunday was a doom and gloom day locally with thick clouds and rain most of the day.  Nassau Lake looked beautiful in the thick fog as the ducks danced on the water.

Several days later, the ducks were at it again, but this time bathed in the late afternoon sun.
The "off-season" may not have all the charms of summer or fall, but it is special just the same.
