Waterfalls in Lenox

With the forecast calling for an 80% chance of rain, it wasn't really an optimal day to hike a mountain, so I went to the Berkshires and visited a couple of small waterfalls on Roaring Brook and Mill Brook.  A small pull off on Roaring Brook Road provides access to a trail that follows the brook.
There are a number of very small cascades and the sounds of rushing water accompany the walk.
 Roaring Brook.
After about .3 of a mile you will see the main falls, which is actually a pair of falls.  I climbed down the embankment to get a better look but there are a number of slippery rocks and leaves along the brook making footing difficult at times.
From the top of a small ledge is a fine view of the top falls.
Only about 5 minutes away on New Lenox Road, Mill Brook cascades down on the north side of Dewey Hill providing a beautiful glimpse of its picturesque cascades.
