Goodbye Summer

The last few days of summer are upon us and autumn seems to be wanting to get a head start this year.  It is a beautiful time of year with warm days and cool nights as well low humidity. These are just a few of the many reasons why this is such a wonderful season.  I was out and about locally in Nassau this evening and got some great shots.
Nassau Lake reflections.
Early colors on local maple trees.
A tranquil stretch of the Kinderhook Creek.
 Kinderhook Creek low water rapids.
 The fleeting summer sun.
Rural backroads in early evening light, as the days grow shorter and shorter.
