Even though the calendar flipped to March earlier this week, the long winter season has continued to press on. Even on a dreary Wednesday afternoon, temperatures in the upper 30s show progress, albeit subtle. A slow thaw on the Kinderhook Creek.
Took a short snowshoe walk through my Grandmother's quiet country woods. The compacting snow pack made for tough going.
Hard to imagine that spring is just around the corner as I trudged through the bare winter woods.
