Boating on Schroon Lake/ River(Adirondacks)

Kalli and I headed up to my sister's camp along the shores of the Schroon River this afternoon to enjoy a nice, peaceful Sunday with family.  We took the boat up the river towards Schroon Lake under perfect conditions.
A private docking area along the river.
There were plenty of others out enjoying the great summer weather.  Passed several other boaters, kayakers, swimmers and people fishing.  Here were a couple we saw floating downstream.
The "Misery" boat, aka "Taylor" boat along the shore near where the river meets the lake.
After passing beneath the county route 62(Glendale Rd) bridge, the river opens up to the lake.  Here we are approaching Brill Island.
We couldn't have asked for better weather!
 Nearing Eagle Point State Campground.
 Heading north.
Our spot for the day.  We docked along the west shores near Taylor's Point.  Water temperature was 76 degrees.  Perfect.
We relaxed and swam for several hours before finally heading back to camp.  We were all pretty exhausted by the end of the day.  Caught this gorgeous view of Schroon River from the camp.
Enjoyed dinner and a fire before heading home.  What a fantastic summer day.
