Schodack Town Park

Winter can be beautiful at times but also oh so frustrating.  Following the area's third Nor'easter in less than 2 weeks, most folks are ready to be done with the snow.  I would have to agree that thought, but figured I would get out for a short walk this afternoon to check out the impressive recent snowfall anyway.  I first dropped down to the very wintry looking Moordner Kill.
The main trail along the creek has been traveled today, but not fully packed down, meaning every few steps was into a deep snowpack.  The woods had a very eerie, black and white look to them as I strolled quietly along.  Hard to believe spring is less than a week away.
Walked a little less than a mile total on a decidedly wintry day.
