Had a small window of free time so took advantage of a beautiful fall like day by doing a quick hike of the Columbia Land Conservancy's Schor Conservation Area. Shocked to have the place to myself for this quiet stroll along Joe's Pond and into the woods.
A nice and easy 2.5 miles, with just the slightest tinge of fall colors beginning to creep in.
So glad you are back to posting. We live in TN now and enjoy seeing NY in your eyes.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the kind words! That's awfully nice of you to say...I haven't had many chances to get out the last few months so glad to be out whenever I can.
ReplyDeleteWhat, your boy isn't hiking beside you yet? Haha. That's one place I haven't visited yet, thanks for the reminder.
ReplyDeleteHaha, he is just starting to walk but probably a little bit before he's hiking with me. Surprised you've never been to Schor...it's a nice little preserve way back on the scenic dirt roads of the Columbia County hills. Usually pretty quiet too!
