Rainy Afternoon at Schodack Town Park

I wasn't going to allow a cloudy and rainy afternoon get in my way of a nice fall walk today.  Stopped in at my local town park in Schodack and enjoyed a quiet stroll along the banks of the Moordener Kill.
The Moordener Kill filling up with leaves.
 Golden carpet.
 Love this time of year!
Looking upstream.
Looped around the creek and then out into the open fields where the foliage was muted a bit by the cloudy conditions.
There is something about a walk in the woods as the rain comes down on the trees above you that brings a peacefulness to me.  I thank god for days like this.
