Schodack Town Park(Town of Schodack, Rensselaer County)

Got out for a short walk locally at the Schodack Town Park after work this afternoon, on what proved to be the nicest day we've had in the last week.

The trails were in pretty good shape given our recent snow event and the time of year.  Just a little mud and isolated spots of ice.

The only issue I ran into was a washed out section of trail near the Moordenor Kill.

Walked various trails along the creek and through the woods for a total of about 1.5 miles RT.  Early sunsets sure are a bummer.

  1. A short walk is better than no walk! This is the time of year I usually end up coming out with my headlamp, especially when there's snow on the ground, that helps light things up even more.

    1. Yes, agreed Ned....a short walk is better than no walk. Cabin Fever can easily set in this time of year.
