Foliage at Thacher Park

Met up up with Kalli and some other friends for a picnic at Thacher Park on a warm but cloudy autumn day.  The backroads provided some classic fall scenes in Schodack on my way.
We parked at the Cliff Edge Overlook Lot and took a nice walk, enjoying the foliage from the escarpment trail.
After finishing our lunch at the top of the escarpment, we proceeded down to the Indian Ladder Trail.
Peak foliage surround the beautiful .4 mile Indian Ladder Trail.
The cliffs of the escarpment rise directly above the trail.
The stroll back to the Cliff Edge Overlook was quiet and pleasant.
A serene picnic spot along the trail.
A very enjoyable day with good company on an overcast but warm mid October day.
